Basic primary medical care is often unavailable in Haiti. Minor injuries or illness can be deadly. The current cholera outbreak has killed dozens and sickened many more in the Sassier area. Our 8 person medical team will be visiting Sassier from January 4 – 11, 2011 to assist in treating and preventing cholera. We will also expect to provide basic medical care and medicines to more than 1000 people through our daily medical clinics.
