Students study French and Kreyol grammar and literature, math, science, and history. The academic results are in: when our first 6th grade class graduated in June 2006, all 23 students passed the national exam to matriculate at the next level. All 25 6th graders in June 2007 passed the exam for a second perfect performance. (The national "pass" rate is less than 70%.)

Since September 2005, each student has received a hot meal and vitamins at midday. A kitchen and cafeteria were added to the school building in May 2006. Meals are prepared in the community solar oven, which has been in operation since the summer of 2006.
