110 girls and boys have enrolled in 7th and the new 8th grade level for 2007-08. In October 2007, Zanmi Sasye volunteers installed a computer lab for CPT students in the community center, powered by solar electricity and equipped with a satellite Internet connection.

Our goal is to add one new grade level each year, creating a full secondary program (through grade 13) by 2012-13, located in a separate school building.  Sassier's citizens support this program enthusiastically.

• Collège Pierre Toussaint is affordable.  Although tuition is a financial sacrifice for all families, it's one they willingly make.
• The students are closer to home and their families.
• Teenage girls and boys remain in the community as mentors and role models to the young.
• Collège Pierre Toussaint should attract new residents and investment to the area.
