In September 2006, ZANMI SASYE—PARTNERS WITH SASSIER launched Collège Pierre Toussaint ("Kolej Pye Tousen" in Kreyol). 58 girls and boys attended 7th grade in two classrooms of the primary school during the 2006-07 academic year. Tuition is $40 per year. The Office of Black Ministry of the New York Archdiocese provided significant financial support.
